Hello Rogers Community. My name is Lisa Roberts and I am the principal at Rogers Elementary School. It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to an exciting new year. I also want to welcome all of our new families. I am sure you will quickly feel that strong sense of community that makes this school so special. 

Here at Rogers, we have exceptionally great teachers and staff who encourage collaboration, critical thinking and hands-on learning.  They work endlessly to bring the best resources and supports to our students.   

In order for our students to thrive now and into the future our education must be relevant, future focused and build the capacity of all in our community to be curious, creative and considerate. Tied to this is the unwavering commitment to enhancing the well-being of each child and fostering an inclusive and diverse community. 

As we have learned from the last few years, we may not know what lies ahead but we know that the strengths of our community, the commitment of our people and the tremendous culture of care that we have in our school will not only support us to survive but to thrive. I and the staff are looking forward to working closely with all of our students, parents, and school community to make this a successful and safe school year.
